MPPS inside and outside of the classroom...
Students are always learning both inside the classroom and outside of it. Our primary purpose as a school is to challenge students to achieve their personal best in all of their endeavors while providing them with the necessary skills for success in college and in their professional careers. Our academics, our service programs, and our students' passions combined with high quality academic and extracurricular programs help to develop character while instilling the highly valued attributes of fairness, equity, justice, and compassion that will enable them to lead with integrity and purpose.
Our minimum graduation requirements are designed to EXCEED a typical four-year college/universities' minimum admissions requiremnts while we MEET most top colleges' recommendation of a minimum of 20 credits in core subjects. Additionally, we understand that academics are not the only criteria that colleges consider when reviewing student applications.
Our extracurricular programs provide students with access to some of the best instructors in art, dance, music and more and offers lots of opportunities for social interactions. All necessary experiences for the social and emotional growth of adolescents.
Personalized Academics
Depending on what students' strengths and interests are, they can pursue a diploma through our traditional pathway or through our hybrid pathway, both programs provide strong academics that prepare students for their post high school aspirations. Our team of experienced and highly qualified educators provide rigorous and engaging academics blended with real world experiences which cultivate a love for learning in our students. Both pathways are balanced high school programs that include a strong service learning component, a multitude of extracurricular activities, and experiences that broaden students' appreciation for culture and the arts.

Our flex schedule, offered through our Hybrid program with ICL, allows students to travel, compete, and perform without missing classtime or sacrificing their academics. Instead they get to enjoy time with likeminded young women who understand and support one anothers goals!
You are truly part of a team as you continue to develop as a young professional athlete or artist.
Fostering Character and Service Leadership
Service learning is an important facet in the education of our students. Being in service to others deepens character and provides a framework for students to grow and develop their understanding of community, their purpose and role in society, and fosters an attitude of caring and tolerance toward others.
At MPPS, students participate in service learning through Lead4Change, the Character and Service Leadership Program (CSL), or they can design a service learning experience with the guidance of our instructors. Through these programs, students learn essential values that serve as the foundation for lifelong leadership and service.
Comprehensive College Guidance & the Academic Resume
Understanding the concerns and aspirations of students and their families is paramount at MPPS and our partner school, ICL. Many of our staff members are parents themselves who hold high expectations for their children and their childrens' futures. When entrusting your child to a private school, you rightfully expect the kind of tailored, personalized attention and guidance that we pride ourselves on providing. From the outset of our journey together, college planning becomes an integral part of the conversation.
Students embark on their college preparation journey by crafting their academic resume, starting with the creation of their Personal Mission Statement. Subsequently, they receive ongoing class selction counseling, participate in SAT/ACT preparation classes, receive assistance in creating their CommonApp profiles, NCAA student recruiting profiles, and our Hybrid program students enjoy full access to Cialfo, along with engaging in hands-on webinar workshops.
